These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all contracts relating to the accommodation of guests, as well as to all other services provided by the hotel.
The contract is concluded upon written or electronic confirmation of the booking by the hotel. Upon booking or confirmation thereof, these GTC shall be deemed an integral part of the contract.
For bookings made via external booking platforms or tour operators, the booking, payment and cancellation terms agreed there shall also apply. In the event of conflicting provisions, the terms expressly agreed for the respective booking shall take precedence.
Individual bookings are defined as bookings of up to 10 hotel rooms per night.
Bookings of more than 10 hotel rooms per night are considered group bookings and are subject to the relevant cancellation and payment terms for groups.
A room booking is only final once it has been confirmed by the hotel and, where required, once a valid credit card or another form of guarantee accepted by the hotel has been provided.
The hotel is entitled to verify the validity of the credit card provided or to carry out a pre-authorisation.
Different guarantee and payment terms may apply to special offers, non-refundable rates, group bookings, trade fair periods or other special conditions. These will be communicated at the time of booking or in the booking confirmation.
Unless otherwise agreed in the booking confirmation, an individual booking may be cancelled free of charge up until 4.00 pm on the day of arrival.
Cancellations must be notified to the hotel and will be confirmed in writing by the hotel.
In the event of last-minute cancellations or a no-show, the cancellation conditions agreed in the relevant booking confirmation shall apply.
For non-refundable rates, the special conditions specified at the time of booking shall apply. Any amounts already charged will not be refunded in the event of a cancellation or no-show.
The cancellation conditions for definitively confirmed groups depend on the group size, the specific event and the booking period, and are determined on a case-by-case basis.
Cancellations must always be made in writing. The cancellation deadlines and fees applicable to the respective group booking are set out in the relevant booking confirmation or agreement.
During trade fairs, conferences, major events and other periods of high demand, special rates and different cancellation, guarantee and payment terms may apply.
The applicable terms and conditions will be communicated in writing to the guest or the person making the booking at the time of the quotation or booking confirmation, and shall take precedence over the general cancellation terms set out in these General Terms and Conditions.
In the event of a no-show without cancellation within the stipulated time limit, the hotel is entitled to charge the costs due as stated in the booking confirmation.
In the event of early departure, there is generally no entitlement to a refund for unused nights’ accommodation. The terms and conditions of the booked rate or the booking confirmation apply.
All prices include service charges and the applicable statutory value-added tax, unless otherwise stated.

Payment shall be made in accordance with the payment terms specified in the booking confirmation.
In the case of a non-refundable rate, the agreed amount will be charged in accordance with the terms specified at the time of booking. In the event of cancellation or no-show, there shall be no entitlement to a refund.
Invoices are issued exclusively within Switzerland and by prior arrangement. They must be settled within the payment period specified on the invoice.

The guest undertakes to treat the hotel’s facilities with care and to show consideration for other guests and staff.
In the event of serious or repeated breaches of the house rules, significant disturbance to other guests or staff, deliberate damage to property, or behaviour that compromises safety or the proper running of the hotel, the hotel may terminate the accommodation contract within the limits permitted by law and request the guest to leave the hotel.
