What is behind the name Gebrüder Marksteiner?

As a regional specialist for fresh and innovative products, Gebrüder Marksteiner has been supplying the catering trade in the Basel region with a wide range of convenience, fresh and frozen products for 50 years.

Where is your product available?

We supply customers in the cantons of Basel-Stadt, Basel-Land, parts of Aargau and Solothurn.

Why is regionality so important to you?

For us, regionality means short transport routes, which means the greatest possible freshness and minimal environmental impact, as well as the support of local farmers. 

Where is your favourite place in (Klein)Basel?

On the banks of the Rhine next to the Mittlere Brücke with a view of Grossbasel – that's somewhere I can let my thoughts run free.
