What is the story behind the name Bäckerei Mock?

Two locations and a catering service in Basel.

The bakery, patisserie and confectionery was founded by Stefan Mock on 1 April 2004. The owner of the business, a trained baker, pastry chef and confectioner, started out with deliveries from his own production facility. His business has grown steadily over the years. Employees were hired and a move to the Ackerstrasse location, a bakery with a shop, took place in April 2012. The Mock company opened its 2nd location in the Schneidergasse in 2015. There are currently 15 employees working at the two locations in Basel.

It goes without saying that fresh products are available every day. We also place great value on regional producers. None of our products contain palm oil.

Where is your favourite place in (Klein)Basel?

I spend most of my time in the bakery. The border triangle and Langen Erlen are, of course, always popular with the family.
